I have provided architectural services to more than 300 clients over the past 14 years. I have a degree in architecture, a masters in urban design and over 40 years’ experience in building, including property acquisitions and development, maintenance and repairs, and the conservation and restoration of traditional timber-framed buildings.

How I work
Whatever you need, the first step is for us to meet at the property and discuss your project. I will try to answer all your questions and outline to you what I see as the major issues in completing your building project. There is no cost to you for this initial meeting and you are not committed to using my services.
Following our initial meeting, if you wish to use my services I will write to you setting out the terms of my appointment. We will agree a start date for the work and I will set out the timescale for the stages of the work.
I believe in simplicity and clarity, and have straightforward design processes, dependent upon the level of service you require. I will consult with and keep you informed at all times during the design and approval process.
Regardless of the size and nature of the project, I believe that your property should be considered in a holistic way. I will advise you on the steps to take to make your building project and your home as sustainable as possible. This could include adopting a green build philosophy, carrying out an outline energy assessment, or doing a detailed energy assessment of your property and how the works will impact on its thermal performance.
